Suspects in break-in at Toronto home urged to see doctor, owner had C. difficile

TORONTO – Police are appealing to a break and enter suspect, and are asking him or her to contact Police and get medical attention.

Police responded to a break in call at a home on Governor’s Road near Bayview Avenue on Thursday.

The person who lives in the house has been diagnosed with Clostridium difficile. While the suspect did not steal anything, he or she may have become infected.

The outbreak of Clostridium difficile across the province is blamed for at least 24 deaths since May.
