The 15-year old accused in the death of York Region police constable Garrett Styles last week could be charged with first degree murder.
The teen has been accused in the death of a police officer crushed by a minivan.
In a brief telephone call to the boy’s hospital bed, court in Newmarket, Ont., heard the accused was in no condition to speak to the charge.
The 15-year-old faces a first-degree murder charge in the June 28 death of York Region Const. Garrett Styles.
The youth, who police say was driving the minivan, was badly hurt in the incident that killed Styles.
The case was set over to Sept 15.
