Sentencing expected Wednesday for man who killed York police officer in 2007

The man convicted of killing York Regional Police Det.-Const. Robert Plunkett is scheduled to be sentenced, Wednesday.
Det.-Const. Plunkett died when a stolen car driven by Nadeem Jiwa pinned the 42-year-old officer against a tree in Markham in 2007.
Jiwa was found guilty of manslaughter.
The Crown is seeking a sentence of 12 to 14 years.
