Children born in spring more susceptible to disease: Study

LONDON, U.K. – Pregnant women should be careful when adding spring into their step.

A new Oxford study suggests children born in the spring are more likely than those born in the fall to develop certain diseases, ranging from asthma to autism, schizophrenia or MS.

Results were correlated to how much sunlight a mother gets while she is pregnant, although there is no official link between the levels of vitamin D and childhood illnesses.

So far, November-born babies appeared to be the healthiest and live the longest.
