Fire crews battle 2-alarm Etobicoke basement blaze

TORONTO, On. – Toronto Fire crews worked to get a basement fire under control in Etobicoke, Sunday morning.

The two-alarm blaze broke out around 6:15 a.m. on Murrie Street, located near Royal York and the Lakeshore.

Police told 680News, no one was injured.

Officers have blocked off Murrie Street, between Royal York and Dwight Avenue.

There’s no word on what caused the fire.
