Police looking for witnesses in pickup truck accident

MARKHAM, Ont. – One man is recovering in hospital with critical injuries, after being hit by a pickup truck in Markham.
It happened around 10:30 p.m. Saturday night, on Main Street near Highway 7.
York police told 680News that the man was one of the three pedestrians hit, the other two were not seriously hurt.
“They were not crossing at a cross walk, they were not crossing at an intersection. It was raining at the time.”
“There are street lights there but when it’s dark and raining you get a glare off the road way and viability is not the greatest,” said the officer.
Police are looking for witnesses to the accident to come forward.
