Man shot at Scarborough Town Centre transit station

TORONTO, Ont. – One man in his 20s has been rushed to hospital with a gunshot wound to the stomach after a shooting at a popular east end mall.

Police told 680News, the shooting happened on a TTC bus that was parked in the Scarborough Town Centre’s bus loop.

No arrests have been made but police say they are searching for a suspect who ran from the scene.

He is described as a black male and was last seen wearing a dark jacket and long shorts.

The victim is in serious but stable condition.

The TTC told 680News most buses are now entering the Scarborough Town Centre station and there is full service on the SRT line.

The southeast bus bay remains closed for police investigation.
