TORONTO, On. – For some it is going to be a MOMumental weekend – gifts, flowers, cards and dinner – while others will celebrate Mother’s Day quietly.
680News reporter Kevin Misener was on the city’s streets, Friday, finding out what Torontonians had planned for their mothers on the big day.
“I did just get back from Florida, and I brought [my mother] to Florida. It was kind of her Mother’s Day gift and and her birthday gift,” said Erin.
“I’ll be thinking of mother, but unfortunately – as most of us live in different cities than our parents – we have to deal with a phone call and postpone it until a date that we’re together,” Ross told 680News.
“I am going to try to be a good son,” Sean said. “We’re going to go over to my Godmother’s house because it is her birthday and her Mother’s Day, and we’re having a whole family Mother’s Day barbecue at her house.”
