Police treat west-end shed fire as arson

TORONTO, On. – Police are treating an early morning fire in the city’s west-end as arson.

Crews worked to extinguish a blaze in the shed of a home at 446 Indian Grove, located in the Keele and Annette area, just before 3 a.m. on Friday.

TTC buses were called to shelter those evacuated from their homes.

Police were able to put out the fire, and they told 680News residents have been allowed to return back to their homes.

CityNews reported one injury from the blaze, an elderly man with chest pains.
