It’s down to one game for the Canucks and Blackhawks

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – It has come down to a one game, winner take all scenario for the Vancouver Canucks.

After blowing a 3-0 series lead, the Canucks now play host to the Chicago Blackhawks tomorrow night in Game 7 of their opening round playoff series.

The million dollar question in Vancouver is who starts in goal Roberto Loungo or Cory Schneider?

Coach Alain Vigneault shocked many in the hockey world by starting Schneider over Loungo in Game 6,  although Loungo still got into the game when Schneider left in the third period with leg cramps.

Schneider is healthy and ready to play in Tuesday’s game if needed.

We should know more on the status of defenceman Sami Salo later today.  He left in the first period with what looked like a leg injury and he did not return to the game.

The Canucks are preparing for their 10th Game 7 scenario in playoff history.  Lifetime Vancouver is 5-4, including 4-2 on home ice.
