CHICAGO,IL (NEWS1130) – Led by the hot-hand of Dave Bolland, the Chicago Blackhawks avoided elimination by beating Vancouver 7-2 at the United Center.
Bolland, playing in his first game since suffering a concussion in early March, registered four points and played a key role shutting down Henrik and Daniel Sedin. The twins were a combined minus seven on the night, with only Daniel earning a point in the game.
Mikael Frolik added three points and Patrick Sharp scored twice for Chicago, giving the ‘Hawks their first win of the series.
Roberto Luongo played his worst game of the series, allowing six goals on 28 shots before giving way to back-up goalie Cory Schneider early in the third period.
The teams return to Rogers Arena for game five on Thursday.
