Police search for missing Richmond Hill teen

RICHMOND HILL, Ont. – York Regional Police are trying to locate a missing 16-year-old boy in Richmond Hill.

William Oliver was last seen at his home on Sunridge Street — located in the Bathurst Street and King Road area — Tuesday morning when he left for school on foot.

Police and family are very concerned for his well-being, as it is out of character for him to be gone for an extended period of time without contacting friends or family.

Oliver is described as:

  • White
  • 6’4″
  • 175 lbs.
  • Thin build
  • Brown hair
  • Blue eyes

He was wearing a black knee-length jacket, black baggy jeans, a black shirt and dark brown boots. He may also be wearing a gold chain around his neck.

Anyone with information is asked to contact York Regional Police at 1-866-876-5423 (ext. 7241), Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS, leave an anonymous tip online at www.1800222tips.com, or text your tip to CRIMES (274637) starting with the word YORK.
