TORONTO, On. – Imagine missing out on prom night because you didn’t have money for the fancy dress or spiffy tuxedo.
“New Circles,” a not-for-profit organization, relies heavily on donations to help teens from low income families to have the prom of their dreams.
Executive Director Jane Craig told 680News the agency is accepting all kinds of prom-related things for students.
“We not only give them prom clothes, but we have shoes, purses and jewelry, scarves, belts, ties, makeup – that kind of thing. So, it’s a full service,” she said.
To donate prom attire, visit 10 Gateway Boulevard, on the corner of Gateway and Don Mills Road. It’s open Monday to Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or until 7:00 p.m. on Thursdays.
