5-month-old boy dies in hospital 2 days after Sudbury car crash

SUDBURY, Ont. – A five-month-old boy injured in a car crash in Sudbury, Ont., earlier this week has died in hospital.

The baby was rushed to hospital after two cars collided at the intersection of Radar and Skead roads Wednesday afternoon.

He was later transferred to the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario in Ottawa due to the severity of his injuries.

Two others suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the crash.

Police blocked off the intersection for about seven hours while they examined the scene.

No charges have yet been laid, but police continue to investigate. (CJMX)
