One man dead, three in hospital following exposure to fumes

TORONTO, Ont. – One man is dead while three emergency responders – including two police officers – are in hospital following exposure to chemical fumes at a home in Scarborough.
Police confirmed to 680News that officers were called to a home on Wishing Well Drive, near Sheppard Ave. E and Pharmacy Ave. following a request to check on the occupant of the home, who was later pronounced dead.
The injured have been treated in hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
The chemical has not been identified.
