Broken water main closes portion of Sherbourne

TORONTO, Ont. – The cold temperatures are causing havoc with our roadways.
Sherbourne Street has been closed in both directions between Shuter Street and Queen Street East as the result of a broken water main.
Gushing water from the break has turned to ice in the frigid temperatures, making the roadway treacherous.
Work crews are on the scene. It’s not known how long the repairs will take.
