Man dies from gunfire at Vaughan banquet hall

VAUGHAN, On. – A man is dead after shots rang out in Vaughan.
The victim suffered life-threatening injuries after being shot in the chest at a banquet hall. He was rushed to hospital but later died from his wounds.
York Regional police were called to the Paradise Banquet and Convention Centre on Jane Street, north of Highway 407.
No arrests have been made yet; however, police are continuing an investigation.
