Joe Fresh to open three stand-alone stores in GTA

TORONTO, Ont. – Joe Fresh, the affordable and fashion forward chain, plans to take four very big steps this spring.

The retailer is opening three stand-alone stores in the GTA and one in Alberta.

One of the locations, at Bramalea City Centre, will be massive, at 18,000 square feet. That store will open in mid-April.

The local stand-alone stores will be also be opening at Heartland Town Centre, in mid-March, and at Vaughan Mills, in late May. The one in Alberta will open in early May.

They will join the flagship stand-alone store that opened in Vancouver last fall.

The openings are timely. Last week, Target announced it was buying Zellers and converting about 150 stores to the Target brand in 2013.

Target is yet another retailer which focuses on affordable but fashionable clothing.
