TORONTO, Ont. – Ontario’s health minister said hospitals across the province are working together in an unprecedented way to cope with an increase in flu patients.
On Wednesday, Deb Matthews said hospitals which cannot take any more patients are transferring people to other hospitals.
At the same time, they are doing everything possible to prevent the postponement of surgeries.
Matthews said the province continues to monitor the situation carefully.
