TORONTO, Ont. – TTC riders may be able to breathe another sigh of relief.
The Toronto Star reported that city councillors on the Transit Commission have voted to delay a decision on cutting 48 under-performing bus routes, following pleas for more time from some riders and councillors.
According to the Star, those routes cannot be eliminated until at least mid-May. Under the original proposal, they would have been axed in March.
The TTC cancelled a proposed 10 cent fare hike on Tuesday.
