Police warn parents to keep kids in back seat following morning crash

TORONTO, Ont. – Police are warning drivers to keep their children in the back seat after an 11 year old boy was hurt Monday morning in a crash between a minivan and a TTC bus.
The crash happened around 8:40 a.m. on Victoria Park near Lawrence Avenue East.
The boy was injured by the airbag in the front seat where he was seated.
The Toronto Star reported that he is expected to be okay.
Transport Canada’s web site says all children under the age of 12 should sit in the back seat.
