Police looking for side-swiping suspects in SUV

Police are on the lookout for two men who were in an SUV that side-swiped five vehicles in downtown Peterborough.
Witnesses compared it to watching an episode of the television show “Cops” as the SUV drove up onto the sidewalk and hit three vehicles waiting for a light.
Witnesses also said the driver was smoking and smiling as he flew around the corner and then hit two more vehicles.
The police were already looking for the vehicle which had stolen licence plates.
They believe the suspects may be from the Ottawa area.
