Three Americans extradited to Canada to face G20 related charges

TORONTO, Ont. – Three Americans are being extradited to Canada to face over 100 charges related to damage following protests during the G20 summit in June.

Police told thestar.com that two of the suspects are residents of New York, while the third resides in New Hampshire.

They are expected to face prosecution in the new year.

To date, a total of 39 people have been arrested in connection with violence during the G20 summit, and face a total of 145 criminal charges. Arrests were made in Toronto, Mississauga, Burlington, Oakville, Guelph, Waterloo, Windsor, Peterborough and Montreal, and the provinces of Quebec and British Columbia.
