Man arrested in Brampton trailer theft of Playstations

Peel police have made an arrest and recovered about $500,000-worth of Sony Playstations and games stolen from Brampton in November.

Two large truck-trailers parked on Eastern Avenue were stolen about three weeks ago.

Together, the trailers were loaded with more than $1-million in Sony products.

Police have recovered about 1,600 Playstations and 2,000 games — that’s about half the amount that was stolen.

Jason Meadus, 39, of Toronto, has been charged with three counts of possession of property by crime. He’ll appear in court in January.
