TORONTO, Ont. – TTC passengers will soon get a better idea if it’s worth their while waiting for a bus or a streetcar.
The TTC has partnered with Google on the new transit trip planner.
The first screen, which will display the status of subway and buses to passengers before they pay their fare, and warn of any delays, will be unveiled Thursday at Dundas station by TTC chair Adam Giambrone and Mayor David Miller.
The website includes all TTC, GO Transit and York Region transit schedules, and routes in 50 different languages.
Commuters can also access the information using their cellphones or other mobile devices.
