Four weeks before HST recalls are launched

VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – Another 300 to 400 canvassers have joined in the HST recall campaign. And it’s a bit of a fight right now to see which ridings could be included.
“The Lower Mainland is doing well. Chilliwack and Vancouver-Quilchena are almost at 100 canvassers now. When you get to 100 you are pretty well in striking position of doing an effective recall,” says Fight HST’s Chris Delaney.
He crunches some of the other numbers. “Seems to be out of the 18 ridings, 10 of them are in a real dog fight to do it. I think that’s largely the result of the enthusiasm of their organizers.”
The top three ridings in BC right now are Oak Bay-Gordon Head, Cariboo-Chilcotin and Kamloops North.
