VANCOUVER (NEWS1130) – It looks like that fatal shooting in South Surrey yesterday may have been a targeted hit.
The victim, 51 year old Randall Davis, was supposed to appear in court just hours later on drug charges. The Surrey man was found dead outside a home at 24th Avenue near 176th Street yesterday morning. Police say he was shot to death.
A neighbour was carjacked immediately after the shooting, and the vehicle was later recovered in Aldergrove.
Police are still looking for a suspect. Investigators are expected to be back at the scene of the shooting today, looking for more evidence and speaking with neighbours.
