Woman rescued from car after GPS mishap

TORONTO, Ont. – A woman driving northwest of Trenton, Ont. had to be rescued from the roof of her flooded car, after depending on her GPS to lead her in the right direction.

Instead, the device allegedly led her astray, and she drove her car into a marsh.

A police officer told The Globe and Mail that he had never heard of a story similar to this before, but admits that stranger events have taken place.
