Drug crackdown in Hamilton leads to 52 arrests

HAMILTON, Ont. – Police confirm 52 people have been arrested during a two week crackdown on street level drug traffickers.
Hamilton officers laid a total of 124 charges and seized marijuana, cocaine, crack cocaine and methamphetamine.
Police chief Glenn de Caire said targeting this type of crime will ultimately lead to a reduction in violent, as well as property crimes across the city.
