Former British PM to arrive in Canada for postponed speaking tour

TORONTO, Ont. – Former British MP George Galloway is expected to arrive in Canada on Saturday to continue a speaking tour he was forced to postpone last year.

In 2009, Galloway was told he would be denied entry into Canada because of his support for terrorists. However, a court recently concluded the federal government interfered in the case for political reasons.

Galloway provided financial support to Hamas, a group which Ottawa lists as a terrorist organization.
