The Canadian dollar opened at 97.56 cents (U.S.), up 0.13 of a cent from Wednesday’s close.
The U.S. dollar stood at C$1.0250, down 0.14 of a cent.
Pound sterling was worth C$1.60, down 0.30 of a cent and US$1.5610, down 0.18 of a cent.
The euro was worth C$1.3407, up 0.53 of a cent.
