New G20 photos, videos, updates released

TORONTO, Ont. – Detective Sergeant Gary Giroux, of the G20 Investigative Team, released new videos and photographs of people wanted in connection with damage caused during the G20 Summit. He has asked for the public’s assistance identifying these people.

The team believes some of the individuals are not from Ontario and have asked for assistance from law enforcement and media agencies in the United States and Montreal.

In addition, the following individuals have been arrested.

Kurt Roarco, 22, of no fixed address, was first arrested and charged on July 18, 2010. He since has been rearrested on a surety warrant.

On August 25, 2010, Brandon Martin Witzke, 21, of Toronto, was arrested and charged with mischief over $5,000.

To date, 20 arrests have been made, including one Young Offender, and 60 Criminal Code charges have been laid.

The police also released a video for the public on their YouTube channel.

The G20 Investigative Team is encouraging the public to continue submitting photographs and video images of criminal acts committed during the G20 to their local police division or upload them to the Team’s website.
