Bieber fans scooping up a map of pop star’s hometown hangouts

STRATFORD, Ont. – Pop star Justin Bieber has become known across the globe, and now his hometown of Stratford is as well.
According to the southern Ontario town’s tourism board, fans from around the world are scooping up a map of his favourite local hangouts.
Spokesman Eugene Zakreski said the board has had to order a third printing.
“The map has appeared on blogs in the U.K., Germany, France, Argentina, Spain, Portugal. They just want to download the map and hang it on their wall, or look at it.”
Zakreski confirmed that in July, approximately 25 per cent more new visitors came to the city than at the same time last year, many of them being young girls holding the Stratford map in their hands.
As a result, the tourism board is now considering launching organized tours.
