20-year-old to appear in court after Malton slaying

BARRIE, Ont. – A man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant for the slaying of a Malton teen was arrested in Barrie.
Peel police have been tight-lipped on the arrest, but confirm 20-year-old Christopher Raphael was taken into custody Friday night and will appear in a Brampton court Saturday morning to officially be charged.
17-year-old Adrian Ducas was shot to death at the Malton Community Centre on July 3 after a basketball game.
This is the fifth and last arrest in connection with this murder.
There are reports Raphael was a member of the Galloway Boys street gang in Toronto and that he was out on bail for a firearms charge.
