Peel cops arrest suspect with shotgun in Brampton

Police in Peel Region have arrested an 18-year-old old suspect who was armed with a 12 gauge shotgun in Brampton Park.
Bike officers were patrolling Earnscliffe Park on Thursday afternoon when they spotted the suspect.
Investigators said the shotgun had been stolen during a residential break and enter a few weeks ago.
Kevin Rainford, of Brampton, has been charged with:
– Possession of property obtain by crime
– Seven firearms offences
He made a court appearance on Friday.
The break and enter is currently being investigated.
