TORONTO, Ont. – A new audit finds none of the Toronto Transit Commission’s 69 stations meets the highest standard of cleanliness.
Although, the audit finds the system is marginally cleaner than two years ago.
The report, which is being presented to council on Wednesday, suggests another 70 cleaners are needed to make a substantial improvement on the system’s condition.
According to the audit, the four worst stations are: Eglinton West, Yorkdale, Harbourfront and North York. The four best are: High Park, Wilson, Midland, Lawrence East and Bessarion.
Thestar.com has reported riders are being invited to survey TTC stations for cleanliness on Sat. July 17 between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Click here for details.
