Man dead after daylight shooting in Scarborough

TORONTO, Ont. – Police are on the hunt for a killer after a daylight shooting, Tuesday, in the east-end.
A man, believed to be in his late 40s or early 50s, was shot in the shoulder outside a car wash in the Midland and Lawrence avenues area at around 1 p.m.
The car wash was across the street from a high school, which was temporarily in lockdown.
The victim was rushed to hospital, where he died a short while later.
This marks the city’s 27th homicide of the year.
Police set up a command post in the area as they searched for the suspect who has been described as armed and dangerous.
