Subway service resumes on Yonge-University-Spadina line

TORONTO, Ont. – Subway service has resumed on the Yonge-University-Spadina line after a shutdown at Queen’s Park station, Wednesday.
A suspicious package was discovered and an evacuation was ordered just after 8 a.m.
A spokesperson for the Integrated Security Unit handling G20 security said a call came in Wednesday morning that an abandoned suitcase was found at the Queen’s Park station.
The spokesperson said, “it turned out to be nothing.”
Police issued the all-clear just after 9 a.m.
