Police ask for public assistance following attempted abduction

TORONTO – Police are alerting the public about an attempted abduction investigation, and are urging people in the area to be aware of their surroundings.

On May 27 at around 8:30 a.m., a 15-year-old girl was approached by a man in the Burrows Hall Boulevard and Sheppard Avenue East area of Scarborough.

The suspect grabbed the teenager and demanded she come with him, but she was able to break free. The man then fled the area.

He is described as:

– White
– 30-40-years-old
– 6′
– Large build
– Having blonde hair
– Having blue eyes
– Unshaven.

He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue jeans and construction boots.
