Investigators need help to locate missing Brampton man

Peel Regional Police are appealing for the public’s help in their search for a Brampton man who’s been missing for a week.

Vanco Stojmenov, 65, left a rooming house on Church Street last Friday.

Police are concerned for his safety because he has schizophrenia and requires daily medication.

According to investigators, someone spotted Stojmenov a couple of days ago in the area of Queen Street East in downtown Toronto.

He is known to use public transit and has previously been located at transit stations in Peel and Halton regions.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Stojmenov is asked to call Peel Regional Police communications at (905) 453-3311, or your local police service.
