Police search for answers in weekend shooting

TORONTO – Police are asking for assistance in solving a shooting which sent a 14 year old boy to hospital.
At 3 a.m. Saturday in the Cecil and Beverley Streets area, the boy was in his bedroom, when the suspect approached the window and began shooting into the home.
The boy was taken to hospital with gunshot wounds, but his injuries are not life threatening and he is expected to make a full recovery.
Anyone with information on the shooting is asked to contact police at 52 division or Crime Stoppers. Police are labeling the crime as a robbery investigation.
