Police issue warrants for five people following Project Spring Clean

TORONTO – A five week police investigation into drug trafficking, crack houses and marijuana grow operations has led to the arrest of 131 people, with 438 charges laid.

However, police have issued warrants for five individuals, ranging in age from 19 to 55, in connection with trafficking and possession of drugs.

The investigation was conducted by officers from 23, 31 and 43 Division, and executed search warrants in the Keele and Eglinton, Jane and Finch, and Markham Road and Eglinton areas.

Police will continue to patrol these areas as part of the Neighbourhood TAVIS Initiative.
