An experimental cancer drug is showing early promise that it can help patients with advanced melanoma that has spread to the brain.
Doctors said that out of 1,000 patients studied, none suffered any side effects.
The drug is said to interfere with another immune compound called CTLA-4, which acts partially as a brake on immune system cells.
It removes the brake, and allows the immune system to find and destroy the cancer.
