TORONTO, Ont. – Toronto police have laid five charges, including stunt driving, against the operator of a tractor-trailer that rolled over on a quiet residential street in the city’s east end, Wednesday.
A 33-year-old Toronto man has been charged.
The rollover happened on Parkview Hill Crescent, in the St Clair Avenue East and O’Connor Drive area, just before 3 a.m.
Officers said a man was speeding in a full-size tractor-trailer before it went up on a sidewalk, hit a hydro poll, rolled over, and landed on its side in front of two homes.
Clean-up crews said the rig will have to be cut up in pieces and hauled away.
