Two Spike seasoning products recalled due to salmonella fears

TORONTO, Ont. – The Canadian Food Inspection Agency is warning people not to eat Spike’s ‘instant all purpose seasoning’ or ‘vegit magic gourmet seasoning’ because the products may contain salmonella bacteria.
The product details are:
- Instant all purpose seasoning, 397 g, UPC 0 75820 20616 1, Lot # 10A12
- Vegit magic gourmet seasoning, 56 g, UPC 0 75820 00002 8, Lot # 9L16
The products, made by Basic Food Flavors, have been recalled in the U.S. and Canada.
There have been no reported illnesses in Canada associated with the eating of these products.
