An Air Canada mechanic walking through a passenger jet in a Vancouver hangar last month was shocked when he found a passenger on board, sound asleep.
The Toronto Star reported that on March 6th, Kris Lines was on the final leg of his journey from London when he decided to take a nap at the tail end of his flight, bound for Vancouver.
In the end, he slept through the landing, and remained in a deep sleep an hour and a half after the plane was moved to the hangar.
Air Canada stated a flight attendant did check to see if anyone was left on board.
It appears his extra long nap has paid off. The airline plans to give Lines 20% his next flight.
