Retrial date for Jordan Manners murder set for next year

TORONTO, Ont. – Two 20-year-old men charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of Jordan Manners will be back in court on Jan. 10, 2011, for a second trial.

Last Friday, a judge declared a mistrial when the jury said it couldn’t reach a unanimous verdict.

Manners, then 15 years old, was shot to death inside C.W. Jefferys Collegiate in May 2007.

Bail hearings for the two men, who cannot be identified, will take place on May 3.
