Two teens charged in robbery investigation

TORONTO, Ont. – Two 16-year-olds have been hit with numerous charges in connection with an armed street robbery.
Police said a 16-year-old was approached by the two boys while walking along Queen Street West, near Bathurst Street.
One of the suspects held a knife to the victim’s stomach and demanded his iPod.
Police were called and arrested the two suspects a short time later.
Officers seized three knives.
The names of the accused cannot be released under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Both appeared in court on Monday.
