TORONTO, Ont. – The eastbound Queen Elizabeth Way has reopened, Friday, after being closed for over five hours due to a fatal accident in the exit lane at Erin Mills Parkway.
A 39-year-old man was killed when his Honda Accord slammed into a stalled tractor-trailer rig.
An air ambulance landed on scene to transport him to hospital, but he had already been pronounced dead.
As it took off, the helicopter hit an overhead wire. No one on board was hurt, but traffic camera service to the area was cut.
