Toronto police warn women about ‘peeping tom’ in Spadina/Bloor Street West area

TORONTO, Ont. – Toronto police have warned women living in the Spadina Avenue and Bloor Street West area about a ‘peeping tom.’
Between 5 a.m. and 5:30 a.m. Wednesday, a woman in the area told police a man was watching her through her apartment window.
When she noticed him, he ran away.
Police want to hear from anyone who has had a similar experience or can identify the suspect.
Area residents are being advised to make sure their doors and windows are locked and that window blinds are closed when it’s dark.
